Intent to Apply for Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Funding

The Mississippi Department of Education, through the Office of Federal Programs, is seeking competitive written proposals from school and community-based organizations to operate Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) programs. These programs offer academic and enrichment activities to students and their parents during non-school hours or during periods when school is not in session. Preference is given to grantees in high-poverty areas and/or students who attend low-performing schools.

The Columbus Housing Authority will apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant funds FY 2021-2022. If you would like to provide feedback on the submission of the application or have any questions regarding the 21st CCLC, please contact Dr. Jackie Stennis, Project Director, by email at[email protected].

If awarded, Columbus Housing Authority will release a similar message notifying the community that the grant has been awarded and provide a brief synopsis of our program.
